Your Role & Responsibilities
Manufacturing Engineer • Environment: * High volume automotive manufacturing plant * Broad mix of automation methods & top tier manufacturer's best practices • Duties: * Provide manufacturing engineering support to all departments * Troubleshoot production/equipment issues providing technical assistance &/or direction in solving manufacturing issues * Ensure equipment is performing safely, effectively and efficiently * Prepare clear & concise technical/non-technical material reports & presentations * Create complete and accurate manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, etc.) * Research, coordinate and implement projects improving product/process quality, cost, efficiency or delivery. • Qualifications / requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical, Manufacturing etc.) or equivalent experience * 4+ years of experience in engineering or systems integration + troubleshooting manufacturing systems; automotive / industrial background preferred * Proven experience in process/equipment optimization & manufacturing documentation * Knowledge & experience in CAD, tooling design, pneumatic circuits preferred * Strong electromechanical skills & analytical ability * Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills * Able to effectively work with people at all levels & within cross-functional team environments * Flexibility with multi-shift operations & overtime is a must
