The Manufacturing Industrial Engineer travels to Standard Textile's North American manufacturing and distribution locations to support new supply chain initiatives. The Supply Chain Engineer will implement standardized processes and research new technology and will work on assigned projects within the Supply Chain supporting distribution, manufacturing and transportation.

What will you do:


  • You will coordinate plant layouts and equipment moves throughout Standard Textile's supply chain and work with outside vendors to obtain quotes.

  • You will identify and implement best practices to support fulfilling customer orders in our B2B and B2C environments.

  • You will gain familiarity with current supply chain IT functions and inventory transactions in order to improve future processes.

  • You will work with internal IT / teams to ensure our systems supports business needs as well as implement and changes that may increase our efficiency.

  • You will grow relationships and work with outside fulfillment companies/3PL providers to deliver fulfillment solutions as needed.

  • You will identify areas to improve operating efficiencies and reduce waste in all processes; shipping, receiving, kaumograph, embroidery, etc.

  • You will lead assigned projects in distribution and manufacturing.

  • You will proactively identify projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency and drive down costs.

  • You will travel up to 40% of the time.


Manufacturing Industrial Engineer Qualifications Include:

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical and Supply Chain Management

  • 0-1-year experience, co-op experience preferred

  • AutoCAD experience
