Description: Quality Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Manufacturing Plant Environment
Location: Wentzville, MO
Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Second Shift)
Employment Type: Contract to Hire (Hourly Pay Rate + Overtime at 1.5x pay after 40 hours)
Open to Direct Hire/FTE

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality within our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and oversee workers engaged in inspecting and testing assembled components, parts, vehicles, and subassemblies as they progress through various assembly stages.
- Review quality assurance instructions, assembly specifications, and production schedules to determine the best approach for inspections and tests.
- Address work-related issues by collaborating with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel.
- Interpret and enforce all quality procedures for plant personnel.
- Train team members on quality procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to established company quality policies, practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and federal regulations.
- Verify the quality of materials purchased, processed, manufactured, and distributed by Wentzville.
- Coordinate activities with the off-shift Supervisor to maintain seamless operations.
- Supervise laboratory personnel performing routine and specialized technical procedures.
- Evaluate work performed and address procedural and technical laboratory challenges.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (required)
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as QCMS/QRMP, ISO, FSSC, ASQ, etc.

Skills:
- Proficiency in quality systems, statistical processes, and policies
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and HACCP
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures, FDA standards, and quality systems

- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve operational issues
- Commitment to punctuality and excellence in job performance
