What you'll do:
* Training, development and supervise a group of team leads to meet company goals.
* Ensure the timely production process, analysis, and shipping of high-quality products.
* Development and implementation of activities in the production floor to meet timeliness goals and cost objectives.
* Prioritizes schedules based on customers need, product mix, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
* Set target goals for output for each work center and track output to goals and implement improvements to achieve target goal.
* Cross train employees in key areas to ensure customer needs can be met during times of peak demand or employee absenteeism.
* Attend daily production meeting with preparation to provide updates on manufactured assemblies to customer service on backlog and future orders.
* Direct root cause investigations on internal and external quality concerns and manage the completion of Quality Notifications to include any assigned controls actions.
* Support COS (KPI's) team in lean events and process improvements to drive increased productivity.
* Operate as a Liaison between Production and engineering to review and implement changes to processes.
* Maintain proper inventory levels. Investigates root cause of manufactured part shortages and implements corrective actions and improved processes to eliminate future occurrences.
* Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
* Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.
* Perform accident investigations.
* Track absenteeism and timekeeping.
* Perform annual evaluation for the team members.
* Perform other responsibilities as needed and assigned.
What you'll need:
* BS in engineering, business, or equivalent or relevant work experience required
* 3-5 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
* Prior supervisory experience

What you'll need:
