Position Overview

The Market Intelligence team is responsible for driving revenue growth via combined industry expertise and advanced data assets application to bring a holistic and cohesive approach to client strategy development and implementation. Best-in-class analyses - showcasing industry expertise and evangelizing NPD's full portfolio of data services and applications - will be the cornerstone of success for this position.

This position will be based in San Diego, CA or Port Washington, NY.

This exciting position will support the Technology Sector and will be a hands-on role responsible for

• leading issue-based analyses directly addressing client objectives and support the activation and sales of NPD advanced data assets
• producing sales support/challenger material to be leveraged as individually requested projects or within issue-based analyses
• deriving (with oversight) implications and recommendations for client action (and to build a roadmap to further sales opportunity)
• supporting the sales strategy analyst leads within the Market Intelligence team during pre- and post-sale activities of cross-asset contracted projects
• driving the analysis operations function of the team, inclusive of weekly and monthly sales intelligence tool updates

You will work collaboratively with several partners, including Client Development, Commercial Analytics, Analytics Delivery Experts, Industry Analysts, and Product.

• Demonstrated excellence in DecisionKey®, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in performing data manipulation and analysis independently
• Demonstrated proficiency in telling data stories (visually, written, verbally) inclusive of context, adjacent categories, etc.
• Engaging presenter capable of holding audience engagement, fielding, and posing questions to understand the true client business issue, etc.
