​​Meta is looking for a strategist and a collaborative operator to join its Marketing Strategy, Planning, and Operations team, supporting the Reality Labs Marcom organization. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled at leading complex cross-functional initiatives with executive-level stakeholders, and is a sharp strategic thinker. This person should see the value of creating inclusive spaces when solving hard problems and will recognize diverse perspectives.This role will work across the entire Reality Labs product portfolio, including Metaverse, VR, Portal, Workplace, and AR. This role will report to the Strategy & Planning Lead for Reality Labs Marcom.The ideal candidate has experience in business strategy, strategic and operational planning, exec-level communication and stakeholder management. This individual is a data-driven self-starter and problem solver, who thrives in and enjoys a fast-paced, cross-functional, and impact-oriented environment. This individual relishes diverse perspectives, is not hesitant to share their own, and enjoys both engaging in strategic discussions and operationalizing ideas and plans. Experience with go-to-market strategy and marketing organizations is a plus, but not necessary. Interest in marketing, however, will be important, for the individual's own benefit. Given the rapid growth and pioneering work of Reality Labs, the individual should also have an appetite for an evolving organization and thus evolving opportunity to drive strategic work and operational enhancements.

Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  • Organizational Engagement and Accountability:
  • Lead high-priority organizational operations such as resourcing, headcount management, organization design, and leadership meetings (e.g., leadership team meetings, all hands, leadership off-sites).
  • Identify emerging friction points and develop solutions (both within team and across orgs).
  • Communicate up, down, and across organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy.
  • Marketing Processes & Accountability:
  • Design cross-portfolio processes that build and improve on strategic marketing, planning, and operations processes to support the Reality Labs Marcom organization, working with relevant cross functional partners within and beyond the immediate team.
  • Work with cross-functional partners including Finance, HR, Insights, and Analytics to enable informed business decisions such as program and market prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Help remove roadblocks, escalate challenges, and enable successful execution for teams.
  • Marketing Strategy and Goal Setting:
  • Support annual and ad hoc planning processes, and partner with Marcom cross-functional partners to develop marketing strategies across the Reality Labs portfolio.
  • Partner with Marcom leadership and cross functionals to define and track org-level goals.
  • Build investment cases for resource asks, including driving trade-off discussions.
  • Lead organizational level strategic projects, as needed and as bandwidth permits.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy/planning/operations and/or management consulting.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience as well as results-oriented.
  • Process oriented with project management experience.
  • Effective communicator.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience working in fast-growing technology environment.
  • Experience with consumer brands, with hardware, retail, and/or emerging technologies.
