Volt is immediately hiring for Master Scheduler in Everett, WA.
As a Master Scheduler you will:
- Develop and improve tactical plans that establish the overall level of manufacturing production plans
- Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve forecast accuracy
- Develop and maintain Forecast, master schedule and procurement plan based on history, seasonality and sales opportunities.
- Review and update forecast, production schedules and material requirements.
- Support new product development through cooperative scheduling of model introductions, end of life and prototype processing with the potential suppliers
- Proactively review material supply and demand to determine push/pull actions appropriate to impact manufacturing MPS and supply MRP exception messages.
- Participate in the evaluation of quotations from our contracted manufacturers to assure all pertinent information is available to analyze for best possible price, quality and supply services to meet our strategic needs for the product life.
- Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with Contract Manufacturers, Purchasing and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed and assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.
- Responsible for establishing production rates that will achieve management's objective in satisfying customer demand balanced with optimizing inventory levels and order backlogs
- Associate's Degree Required, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Five or more years' experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Material Requirement Planning and Forecasting
- Working knowledge of tools and techniques for planning of inventory and production such as CRP, LEAN and TOC.
- Experience with S&OP aligning and forecasting
- Experience in Aerospace or other regulatory industry with an electronics focus is preferred
Knowledge/Skills that you may also have: - Knowledge and experience in a professional business environment
- Proven experience with complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programs
- Experience with Purchasing/Materials tools (MRP, Inventory analysis, part or supplier profiles, etc)
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures
- Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal)
- Outstanding interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills
- Strong focus and attention to detail
- Time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environment
- Excellent organization agility, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong focus on customer service
- Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
