Previous Forklift Experience Required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads and unloads trucks with either incoming or outgoing materials.
• Inventories/counts and moves raw and finished materials from the production floor or storage areas to their intended destination.
• Operates sit-down lift and high-reach lift trucks as necessary to store or deliver materials.
• Accurately reports daily activities as required.
• Inventories, prepares and packages materials for shipment.
• Coordinates UPS shipments and receipts.
• Keeps work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Exercises safe work habits.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED/RECOMMENDED:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school.
• Previous forklift experience required
• Ability to function as an effective team member.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a lift truck operators license.
• Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs.
