Position Summary

Enidine is searching for a qualified Materials Manager to oversee our inventory, warehouse, and master scheduling functions. If you are an experienced and competent SIOP professional with great communication skills, then we're looking for you!

Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, with experience in evaluating and implementing world class materials and inventory controls solutions with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. To excel in this role, candidates need in-depth knowledge of Integrated Sales, Inventory and Operational Capacity Planning. This position will Supervise Warehouse and Shipping Personnel.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Manages Warehouse, Incoming Receiving and Shipping staff to ensure error free and customer focused movement of incoming materials and finished goods through the value chain.
  • Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure material is on-hand to support on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements, while eliminating waste in inventory levels.
  • Partners and Supports purchasing in building optimized parts retention strategies.
  • Supports the planning team in a matrix organization regarding the planning and purchasing of piece parts based on demand data. Optimizes Planning processes.
  • Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions. Optimizes those procedures.
  • Establishes procedures and supervises the annual physical inventory
  • Supervise, evaluate and coach all direct reports, and also dotted line reports in planning.
  • Interfaces with Focus Factory Managers on the planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments
  • Supports our transformation to "Plan for Every Part" methodology, taking leadership and providing insight where applicable to planning functions. Ensures Oracle Capacity Planning/MRP tool accurately reflects lead times to better plan capacity.
  • Assesses load versus capacity in all aspects of the business and works to identify material constraints and capacity issues that may impact our customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Determines if an out of balance condition exists and identifies sound alternatives.
  • Leads personnel to resolve material and capacity issues, and develops plans and strategies to eliminate impacts to the internal build or ship plan(s).
  • Manages progress against the shipment plan and internal build schedule, and communicates program status on a regular basis.
  • Manages integrity of data that supports the material requirements planning and capacity requirements planning processes.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Manufacturing Operations or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in progressive experience and complexity.
  • Proven managerial experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
