  Job Title: General Laborer
  
  Job Summary:
  
  As a General Laborer at Tyson Foods, you will be considered for any general labor type opening in various departments, including but not limited to first processing, packing, deboning, and labeling. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the production process by performing a variety of physical tasks.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching as required by the job.
  
  
  • Lift objects of varying weights, depending on the area of work.
  
  
  • Work in environments that may be cold, damp, hot, or humid.
  
  
  • Be aware that some work areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined above.
  
  
  • Willingness to work in various departments and adapt to different tasks as assigned.
  
  
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  
  
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  
  
  • Good communication skills.
  
  
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including the possibility of a $1.00 shift increase for the second shift.
  
  Additional Information:
  
  
  • Hourly wage: $16.05 per hour.
  
  
  • Applicants must complete additional tasks after submitting their application to be considered for employment.
  
  
  • Candidates must not have worked for Tyson Foods three times before (3X rule).
  
  
  • There is a 180-day wait period from the last termination date before reapplying.
