SWP is looking for the best people to help us keep growing and expanding! We are currently looking for a Mechanic. This is a position that is critical to our success as you will be repairing and servicing our construction & landscaping equipment.
Job Description
- Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild and maintain power equipment.
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects, dismantles and reassembles equipment.
- Monitors work of less experienced mechanics
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Perform services and repairs from basic preventative maintenance inspections and troubleshooting.
- Accurately record time, parts, and inspection checklists
- Move company equipment safely in yard as needed
- Performing routine physical labor duties and help keep the workplace clean and safe
