First Shift (United States of America)

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the assembly of stock components and for trouble shooting returned products from the field. Interaction with Engineering Department is required for design change, product enhancement and improving customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build or assemble both non-electrified and electrified components by following the specified directions from the job paperwork

  • Must be able to read basic blue prints and electrical schematics
  • Required to test and initial electrified components for function
  • Notify Production Supervisor when maintenance supplies and parts need to be ordered or replenished prior to running out
  • Maintain the general equipment, machinery and work area. Keep the equipment and area clean and free of excess debris
  • Debug and trouble shoot electrical problems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools

  • Must be self-motivated
  • At least two years of electrical industrial electric experience, including panel building
  • Must be able to read basic blue prints and electrical schematics
  • Handle materials with forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
  • Climb portable ladders

  • Must be able to communicate with other employees effectively


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements

  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel or crouch (5%), as required

  • Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift
  • Able to wear hearing protectors (ear plugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels
