Beacon Hill Health and Clinical Resources is currently seeking experienced medical front office receptionist for a large community provider in South Florida. This is a full-time contract position with opportunity to become permanent.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Facility location: Miami Design District area

*Seeking candidates that can start immediately and local to the Miami area*

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years experience working in a medical office
• Must be professional with strong customer service background
• Computer Savvy ( Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment/busy medical office
• Bi-lingual: English/Spanish Required
• HS diploma required
• Reliable transportation

Overview of Job Duties:

• Routes clients/patients to the appropriate areas within the agency.
• Answers phones, checks and returns voice messages in a timely basis.
• Assists with front desk duties as required (i.e. telephone appointment scheduling and/or patient reminder calls).
• Checks patients in for their appointment in a timely manner using the correct events in the schedule.
• Updates patient's demographic in agency's data systems (NextGen, Casewatch, Provide - as appropriate).
• Ensures photo ID and insurance card are scanned for all patients.
• Collects co-payments, deductibles, and balances at time of check in.
• Ensures that all forms are signed and scanned into electronic health record.
• Checks patients out at the end of their appointment including giving follow up appointments
