Full Time - Day Shift

Sunday to Thursday OR Monday to Friday with alt Saturdays

*Sign On Bonus Eligible*

In this role you will:

  • Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the art instrumentation including an integrated Sysmex XN line with CellaVision; automated Urinalysis; Coagulation and Andrology.
  • Review manual differentials and read IFA slides for autoimmune and infectious diseases
  • Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results; take remedial action when indicated
  • Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory's procedure for specimen handling and processing
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety

All you need is:
  • New York State Department of Education License (Medical Technologist/Technician)
  • Bachelors or Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
  • ASCP, preferred

Bonus points for:
  • 2 plus years of technical experience in Hematology
