CUMULUS MEDIA | Colorado Springs is looking for a dynamic Morning Drive Traffic Reports / Cluster Production Tech / Fill-In News Talent. Our people take pride in our community and value teamwork. Who We Are:

CUMULUS | Colorado Springs currently features 5 stations in the Colorado Springs area and surrounding counties. Our stations include: 95.1 KATC-FM, 1300 KCSF-AM, 98.9 KKFM-FM, 98.9 Magic FM, 92.9 Peak FM and 740 KVOR-AM. These stations reach hundreds of thousands of listeners on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Individual will perform daily cluster-wide traffic reporter duties as needed, working early morning hours each weekday.
• Primary duties will be preparing and delivering updated local traffic information reports, along with some newsroom writing and voicing stories, and potentially posting on social media platforms.
• Providing help in preparing/producing station commercial content as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience with long-form, breaking, non-scripted, long-form news and/or traffic coverage.
• Familiarity with digital audio editing software; Op X, VOX Pro/Adobe Audition and Audacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking
• Good at problem solving and prioritizing
• Demonstrated upbeat personality, informative, entertaining and engaging on the air; able to relate to station audience
• Pleasant, charismatic and well-controlled voice; excellent pronunciation
• Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills; proficient in grammar
• Can work well in a team environment; collaborative
