Overview

i3 is looking for a Production/Sustainment Support Specialist to support US Air Force Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) training systems as well as other RPA-related development activities. The selected candidate will assemble multiple rack of computer and I/O hardware, load software and configure network hardware, as well as ensuring final integration and preparation for acceptance test. The selected candidate will also provide hardware and software sustainment support to the customer and provide onsite support as necessary. This position requires daily interactions with RPA ground systems in a laboratory environment located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities

• Build a range of fixed space flight simulators.
• Work with production lead and systems engineers to improve and validate assembly procedures.
• Investigate and resolve operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the MJAT Family of Systems (FOS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience. 9 years of relevant experience can be substituted for a degree.
• Security + certification
• Experience with testing or developing software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• MQ-9 Ground Control Station experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• US. citizenship is required.

Travel:

• Up to 25% travel required.
