Summary:
This is a Per-Diem MRI Technologist position. The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes at minimal magnetic radio frequency dose.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

License Requirement
License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
1. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
2. Certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited Institution and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an MRI Technologist; or
3. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as an MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate should have one year experience as an MRI tech in a hospital setting and have a ARRT Certification in MRI.
