Job Description
NYC - Arts, a weekly news magazine program showcases the city's cultural offerings, providing the tri-state audience with a unique overview of the city's unparalleled cultural offerings.

An immediate opportunity exists for a Multimedia Producer to plan and coordinate activities involved in the production of a weekly show. The Multimedia Producer will assist the Editorial Director in researching, planning and coordination of weekly program segments. The Multimedia Producer will report to the Editorial Director and will work closely in all phases of the production process from story development through post-production and delivery. Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited, to:
* Researching and pitching stories, developing storylines and identifying locations and characters;
* Coordinating the production of shoots;
* Conducting interviews, working with on-camera talent as required and fact-checking scripts;
* Liaise, as necessary, with various other departments, including publicity, production services, finance and legal;
* Additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications include:
* At least three (3) years' experience in television program and post production;
* The ability to edit video;
* Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
* Exceptional planning, organization, problem analysis and decision-making skills;
* Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Candidates with the ability to shoot video are preferred.
