.Net DeveloperBCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced .Net Developer at Kansas City, MOTitle: .Net DeveloperDuration: 12 months contractLocation: Kansas City, MOJob Description:The position is to maintain the support and maintenance of multiple applications within our healthcare WIC team. The application that will be supported is an internet-based application, written with ASP.Net, VB.NET, and WPF. The candidate will have a high level of proficiency in ASP.net, VB.net, WPF, SQL and has worked with either MS SQL or Oracle databases. This candidate needs to be able to perform the daily support needs such as defect fixes, coding new enhancements, peer reviews, and unit testing. They will also be working with development team and business analysts in documenting the existing system as well help with design of new features in the system. A candidate will have good documentation and unit testing skills.Experience:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years' experience with .NET framework (Visual Basic, ASP.NET)
• 2+ years' experience with WPF
• 2+ years' experience with Entity Framework

Design, Code and Test systems solutions based on requirement specifications

• Solid knowledge of SQL
• Good documentation skills with knowledge of MS Word
• Helpful: Sound knowledge in designing and implementing WPF projects
