Basic Job Functions:
This Galvanizing Team Leader is responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of a crew of hourly production workers.Monitor the entire process, and give direction and relief as needed.
- Must be knowledgeable and functional in each position in their area
- Responsible to hold safety meetings and take corrective action when necessary
- Must be able to make decisions regarding quality, acceptable to continuing operating and when to make adjustments
- Orient and train new employees in the operation of the department
- Lead by example and engage the team to achieve the same goal
- Ability to contact Maintenance and Engineering when support is needed
- Able to administer all company policies
