About The Job:
This position evaluates and treats patients of all ages to develop treatment plans with involvement of family/support systems to meet the individual's functional goals. He/She provides direct supervision of support personal as related to patient care.
What we are looking for:
Education:
B.S., B.A., M.O.T., M.S., or M.A. degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapist, Registered in the State of Iowa required.
Experience:
Prefer demonstrated competence in an acute care setting for at least one year.
Special Skills and Competencies
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.
