The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the office space and restrooms of the office. Providing any necessary support to the Executive Facilities Coordinator as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surface Cleaning: Perform regular dusting, wiping, and sanitization of surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and other office furniture.
2. Floor Maintenance: Sweep and vacuum office floors to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Pay special attention to high-traffic areas, such as the hallway.
3. Waste Disposal: Empty and clean waste bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of trash and recyclables. Maintain cleanliness in and around waste disposal areas.
4. Restroom Sanitization: Thoroughly clean and disinfect restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures. Restock toiletries and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
5. Kitchen and Breakroom Maintenance: Clean kitchen appliances, countertops, and tables. Ensure the proper disposal of food waste and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
6. Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and doors to ensure a clear and polished appearance.
7. Supply Management: Monitor and report the need for cleaning supplies and ensure an adequate stock of cleaning materials is maintained.
8. Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Follow established safety procedures and guidelines, especially when handling cleaning chemicals. Use personal protective equipment as required.
9. Communication: Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with office staff to understand specific cleaning requirements or preferences.
10. Adaptability: Be flexible in responding to additional cleaning requests or changes in the cleaning schedule as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in office cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Understanding of safety protocols related to cleaning activities.
