Job Description

Summary

Performs administrative and operational tasks to increase the overall efficiency of a company's daily business operations. Supports functions related to administrative support of Operations, Facilities and Quality Control for assigned location.

Job Functions

  • Provide administrative support to operations team to increase the overall efficiency of a company's daily business operation.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, faxing.
  • Sets up and maintain suppliers in the company financial system (Oracle)
  • Reviews the lab suppliers, with accurate items numbers, quantities required to order and lead times, notifying the lab technicians of supply concerns
  • Track /manage inventory of office supplies and consumable testing supplies
  • Order supplies thru oracle punchout, follow up on supplies not received. Process received supplies in oracle system
  • Maintain the oracle i-procurement system to pay all bills, responds to corporate procurement concerns regarding this labs entries
  • Maintain the lab p-card for bills that can not be processed thru i-procurement with proper documentation & GL entry
  • Review and type test reports & customer quotes as needed
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients, and maintains positive interaction with peers and supervisors
  • Performs additional office management tasks as directed
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work independently, use time wisely and multi-task.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilites
  • Language Skills: English
  • Mathematical Skills: Intermediate
  • Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Intermediate
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Salary range is $23.00 an hour (depending on experience)
