ResponsibilitiesThis position primarily provides support for staffing the Special Collections & Archives reference desks at Strozier Library and the Claude Pepper Library, and also the Heritage Museum in FSU's historic Dodd Hall. Responsibilities of the Special Collections & Archives Assistant include:
High school diploma or equivalency.
Preferred QualificationsComfortable answering questions and communicating with the public.
Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Comfortable using Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).

Special Collections & Archives operating hours Summer: 10-15 hours/week/Monday - Friday 10-5; Fall: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 10: am-5:00 pm
