Position Description:

A Business Analyst team member maintains a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization, while acting in the best interest of both the IT department and business department(s). He or she will serve to ensure that delivered solutions meet the needs of end users. This position requires a combination of functional knowledge and general technical proficiency in Oracle eBusiness Suite v12. Person works closely with business application users and IT technical staff. Problem solving skills are required to diagnose and troubleshoot application issues.

Position will initially be remote, with a view to hybrid

General Duties:

• Provides continuous production support on Oracle eBusiness Suite and other integrated third-party applications as needed.
• Strives for continuous improvement of business processes and system functionality.
• Creates testing, training and documentation templates.
• Participates in the development of conceptual and functional specifications for application development for customer facing applications.
• Assists business users in testing, application training and documentation.
• Takes part in IT functional unit testing and integration testing.
• Helps in troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution efforts.
• Assumes additional project responsibilities as assigned.

• Help manage functional changes and non-strategic enhancement requests within the Oracle modules.
• Weekend and evening support required - as needed.

• Position requires analytical ability, creativity, and judgment in analyzing and implementing application solutions.

• Makes recommendations on priorities, design changes, improvements, and problem resolutions.

Communication:

• Proficient in written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate and review problem situations and solutions with the business community.
• Effectively communicates business and technical knowledge.

Teamwork:

• Understands and supports the mission and vision of the department.
• Effectively uses teamwork skills to interact and collaborate on alternative approaches to software development issues.
• Positively contributes to a high-morale/high-performance, team culture, leading by example.

• Works well with and maintains a positive attitude when working with end users

Job Knowledge/Experience:

• Minimum of one to three years of progressively responsible experience in Oracle e-Business suite v12.
• Strong business process definition background.

Education:

• Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
