What you will be doing:

We are seeking an Oracle System's Analyst with in-depth technical knowledge and experience managing enterprise-wide financial applications. Our Analyst for Financial Applications will be an important member of our global IT team and will be designing, solutioning, and delivering first-class systems, enhancements, and processes for the financial community.

Primary role of this function is to partner with the Financial Business teams to identify improved solutions for the existing and future challenges. Our Analyst will support our financial teams and guide them to make standard methodologies with the tools available, provide enhancements and propose new solutions that integrates and aligns with the company and IT team objectives.


  • Design and deliver system solutions to support both new initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the financial areas across the global organization whilst ensuring that they support the overall company goals and its strategies

  • Communicate and collaborate with users to analyze business needs and translate into functional design

  • Capture and evaluate business requirements. Determine approach to meet requirements with the existing capabilities, design solutions and extensions and propose solutions and tools that adopt the growth of the business and get it closer to reach its goals.

  • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements for both enhancements and projects

  • Ensure that all systems implementations/changes consider any operational impact and work with the teams involved to appropriately integrate with the company's systems.

  • Assist the solution design team with process documentation and develop a solid understanding of business processes

  • The solutions implemented must make valuable contributions by growing revenue, growing efficiencies, reducing costs, and eliminating errors

  • Act as a liaison within the IT department with the finance community staff in the organization to support their business initiatives through systems evolution

  • Provide support and guide in any finance related request raised as part of internal or external audit from any of the global and corporate finance teams.

  • Prioritize requests and exceptions impacting the ability of the company to provide financial information to the collaborators and preventing the finance teams to perform their daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities in timely and accurate manner.

  • Guide and help grow the finance teams globally and lead them to implement standard methodologies in their system-based processes. Document, train and support change through new projects and solutions.

  • Resolve system processes exceptions as they occurred with the appropriate urgency. Perform research and partner with third party support entities to resolve them.

  • Build reports and documents as the need arises

  • Manage and resolve support tickets

  • Align and support SLAS

  • Show continuous improvement in efficiencies within the finance business areas

  • Perform extensive testing on new/modified code, integrations and overall system, software and infrastructure changes and create the vital process & support documentation.

  • Implement and follow existing and new QA policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with the business financial community on developing testing plans and building sops

  • Complete and maintain system business process documentation

  • Implement system test plans

  • Operate as the key business contact representing it in promoting it services and capabilities

  • Mentor other IT team members and help them grow, provide guidance, and promote teamwork and communication.


Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Excellent oral and written English communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Excellent multitasking skills, time management and efficiency

  • Familiar with project management and/or business analysis concepts

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Ability to perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions

  • Hands-on experience with creating artifacts like business requirement document (BRD), system requirement document (SRS), requirement traceability matrix (RTM), functional specification document (FSD)


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, information technology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in financial applications cycles: order to cash, procure to pay, assets, treasury, cash management

  • In-depth functional configuration experience and day-to-day end-user support of Oracle 12.1.3+ E-business suite modules

  • ​Experience troubleshooting, fixing SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.

  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with oracle workflow builder and/or approvals management (AME).

  • Oracle application framework (OAF) experience: personalization, HTML pages, and Java class extensions within the context of the oracle e-business suite.

  • Understanding of Oracle forms, reports, and/or bi publisher, OBIEE (or OBIA) and Hyperion.

  • Accounting or financial knowledge/background

  • Languages: Spanish

  • Experience with ERP in addition to Oracle
