Summary:
Works in collaboration with the Director of Organizational Development (OD), members of the OD Team and internal clients to lead strategic projects and initiatives that solve complex organizational challenges to achieve long-lasting behavioral and cultural change at the enterprise level. Researches and leads OD initiatives that drive success in the organization's critical processes and ensures alignment with the strategic direction of the organization. Applies organization development theories, methods, and tools to solve a wide range of individual, team and organizational business problems. Communicates ideas and strategies to make clear and persuasive arguments that drive paradigm shifts in thinking and sustained behavioral change. Works effectively with a wide variety of clients at all levels within the organization, building trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders and business partners to deliver effective organizational development solutions that drive core patient care and business operational performance.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, one of the Behavioral Sciences or related discipline and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time experience designing, developing and coordinating initiatives that drive individual and/or team performance improvement; or
2. Associate's degree in Psychology, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, one of the Behavioral Sciences or related discipline and the equivalent of ten (10) years of full-time experience designing, developing and coordinating initiatives that drive individual and/or team performance improvement.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

The Organizational Development department at Roswell Park is responsible for the design, development and successful execution of planned change initiatives that drive long-term success as defined by our vision/mission and strategic plan. The team is responsible for leadership development; employee engagement; coaching and mentoring programs; new employee orientation; regulatory training and the learning infrastructure that supports these talent development initiatives. Team members collaborate closely with our internal partners to ensure the successful execution of large-scale, institution-wide transformation initiatives which currently include Resiliency; Nursing Excellence; High Reliability Organizing and the ongoing upgrades of our IT infrastructure to ensure we meet the dynamic standards of a 21st century leader in the field of comprehensive cancer care.

About Roswell Park | Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center - Buffalo, NY

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related discipline such as psychology, social work, human resources, business administration, information technology or a related discipline. A Master's level qualification in Organizational Development or related discipline is preferred (such as Talent Development, Organizational Leadership, Change Management, Creativity/Innovation). Credentials such as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) will be highly regarded.

You will have eight years' experience in an OD, adult education, or workplace training role where you were designing, developing and delivering learning journeys for adult audiences, ideally within healthcare or other complex corporate or non-profit environment; and leadership experience where you were responsible for team success and meeting project outcomes, either as the supervisor of an in-tact work unit or leading cross functional project teams.

Applicants must demonstrate understanding of 21st century adult learning and habit-building principles and the ability to apply these in ways that strengthen a learning organization. You will have the ability to imagine, create, develop, customize and share learning content; and experience using LMS platforms (ideally Workday) and other 21st century applications to manage learning initiatives and measure outcomes.

The successful candidate will have actively participated in long-term, large-scale OD and talent development initiatives, ideally as the leader or coordinator, and can demonstrate the ability to influence a wide variety of people and project outcomes. Your skills will include planning and guiding projects from inception to successful conclusion as well as monitoring and evaluating their success and impact, facilitating meetings, delivering formal training, hosting inclusive problem-solving conversations, coaching leaders and teams, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
