About This Job

As a Remittance Processor, you'll be responsible for the daily processing of various remittance accounts with an emphasis on healthcare. You will have the opportunity to meet and exceed high standards for production and quality. You'll keep money flowing quickly and efficiently. Essential Functions

• Read, identify, and interpret unique customer remits and account instructions. Process payments and correspondence to meet the needs of multiple customers across multiple pillars of business including healthcare, finance, and more.
  
• Workgroup item processing that includes document sorting by remittance type, batch log on, batch re- association and the ability to process multiple accounts with different processing instructions.
  
• Capture data and provide document decisioning based on unique customer instructions and account schemas.
  
• Meet unique customer deposit, scanning and transmission deadlines.
  
• Operate high or low speed scanning equipment with high degree of accuracy while maintaining production standards.
  
• Meet or exceed department production & quality goals while working independently.
  
• Cross-train and deliver results in other areas of the department as needed.
  
• Perform data entry keystrokes at department production & quality standard.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 9:00pm-6:00am

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  
• 10 Key by Touch with 4,000 keystrokes per hour with a high degree of accuracy
  
• Read and interpret data from multiple pages and capture needed information with a high degree of accuracy
  
• Repetitive hand movement
  
• Ability to maneuver multiple screens to complete keying in order to meet various deadlines throughout the shift
  
• Interpret and follow directions across multiple accounts
  
• Multi-task across functions as needed
  
• Motivated and organized self- starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Effectively communicate individual processing challenges to immediate lead/supervisor
  
• Effectively communicate trends and anomalies with management to ensure a positive customer experience.
  
• Willingness to seek, receive, and apply feedback to improve performance
  
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  
• Basic ability to navigate computer systems effectively
  
• Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  
• Healthcare Cash Posting and or denial management experience preferred
  
• Understanding of PHI and PCI processes, guidelines, and procedures preferred
  
• 1+ years data entry or related experience in remittance processing, claims or high-volume processing, accounts receivable, bank operations, teller or other retail banking experience
