Ultimate Staffing is partnered with a well-established law firm in the Columbia area who specializes in Bankruptcy law that has an immediate opening for an experienced Paralegal to join their team.

Direct hire opportunity.

In office required for training then will move to hybrid.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM with required flexibility.

Salary range - 65,000 - 85,000 DOE

Responsibilities include:

*Supporting 2 attorneys in preparing petitions and pleadings for court.

*Must be able to draft motions and amendments with minimal direction.

*Will be meeting with new clients to determine if they are a good fit for the firm.

*Prepping existing clients for court hearings.

Requirements:

*At least 5 years of experience in bankruptcy law from the client side not creditor side.

*Should be well versed in preparing bankruptcy petitions from start to finish.

*Must have knowledge of Chapter 7 and 13 - familiarity with Chapter 11 would be a bonus.
