Position is accountable for performing security duties in support of Company's ability to ensure the production and timely delivery of high-quality plastic secured cards according to customer specifications and Company quality objectives.

1. Monitors security cameras, access control system, and alarm systems to ensure the security and safety of the card manufacturing process and facility
2. Completes daily activity logs and incident reports to ensure that routine tasks as well as responses to emergencies and special requests are documented for future reference
3. Responds to any building alarms and determines whether to contact security monitoring vendor, plant management or law enforcement
4. Performs duties to support physical security program (i.e., visitor control, key control, id badging processes, etc.)
5. Observes dock area when secured shipments are being loaded and unloaded by Shipping and Receiving personnel
6. Answers the telephones during responsible time periods and transfers calls to appropriate person
7. Monitors weather radio during shift and notifies plant personnel regarding bad weather and the need to move to safe areas of the building
8. Covers shifts for other security officer paid time-off request as well as being on-call for emergency call-offs
9. Complies with ISO 9001:2000 certification for all areas of responsibility
10. Follows all company procedures and rules
11. Follows all customer mandated security procedures and process requirements
12. Conducts self in a respectful and professional manner with a focus on teamwork, quality and timeliness at all times
13. Maintains a clean and safe work area

14. May be required to take on additional tasks and projects as determined by Security Manager

15. Covers department time off requests throughtout the year to equal an estimated 28 hours/week.

Schedule:

This is a part time role. Every other Sunday- 7:00am-7:00pm and Saturday 7:00pm-7:00am

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with 1-3 years of security experience
2. Demonstrated strong security orientation
3. Ability to interact effectively with others
4. Must be reliable through good attendance, punctuality and cooperation
