                                                                                       HEMATOPATHOLOGIST

The Department of Pathology of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a PRN Board Certified, fellowship trained Hematopathologist, to join a group of 32 practicing pathologists and technical directors.  Expertise in hematopathology morphology, molecular hematopathology, cell kinetics (flow cytometry), metabolic hematology, coagulation is desirable.

 

  • Applicants must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree.
  • TX medical license upon hire and have demonstrated excellence in applied laboratory science and education.
  • American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with Hematology (Hematopathology) certification/eligibility required.
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with molecular hematopathology experience and/or experience in flow cytometric-based minimal residual disease analysis.
  • Academic appointment through Texas A&M School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience.
  • Call coverage once every 6-12 weeks.

 

BSWH Temple Clinical Laboratories provide a full range of diagnostic testing and consultation services, including: clinical chemistry; special chemistry; point-of-care testing; hematology/coagulation; clinical microbiology and virology; immunology, flow cytometry and a full-service transfusion medicine program, including donor center, blood bank and therapeutic apheresis service.
