VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center's team invites you to be our newest Patient Care Coordinator!

VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center located in Omaha, NE, offers a wide range of specialty, critical care, and emergency service.

Our Emergency and Specialty Care Services: Our Emergency and Specialty Care Teams are the heart of our hospital. Our Emergency and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) mirrors what one would find at a human medical center. By incorporating advanced techniques derived from veterinary and human medicine, we can ensure that our patients are being treated in the best possible way.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Duties will include:

  • Heavy client contact, including in-depth client education.
  • Coordinate patient-care services.
  • Accurately entering charges.
  • Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services.
  • Maintaining and updating patient records.
  • Presenting and explaining treatment plans to clients.
  • Discharging patients to clients.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, this position will be a M-F 8 hour shift work week.

Requirements: 2 + years of veterinary experience required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
