JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients and help deliver a world-class patient-centric experience
  • Assist with patient schedule management, including but not limited to: scheduling patient protocols and next appointments, following-up on patient journey tracking reports and dashboards
  • Submit and follow-up on cases for authorization and prepare clinic's chart prep
  • Facilitate daily patient clinic processing (Check-In/Out), process patient collections
  • Coordinate medical record requests with Home Office
  • Review insurance and financial details with patients
  • Provide responsive communications with Home Office and timely patient follow-up communications
  • Perform welcome phone calls and/or emails to new consults
  • Complete clinic's daily open/close procedures following Company policy
  • Provide coverage for other clinics, as assigned
  • Assume clinic leadership role in absence of Practice Manager, as assigned
  • Give support in achievement of clinic performance objectives (KPIs) and clinic financial goals

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Local travel between the following clinics in the state of Connecticut: Avon, Glastonbury, North Haven, Southbury and Waterford
SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Comfortable navigating and learning medical software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
EDUCATION

  • High school diploma required
EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 1 year medical office experience required
Preferred:

  • Experience with preauthorization/ verification preferred
  • Experience as medical receptionist preferred
  • Experience with EMR preferred
