RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Payroll Analyst in Ashburn, Virginia (VA).Responsibilities include:

• A Payroll Analyst will prepare general ledger (GL) reports and post various payroll journal entries to the accounting system (SAP)
• Process weekly, bi-weekly, off-cycle payrolls for team members in multiple U.S. states, and Canadian provinces using the Human Resource Management System (Vista HRMS)
• The Payroll Analyst will solve payroll issues utilizing system using expertise and analysis skills

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on payroll and payroll processing experience
• Proven knowledge of multi-state payroll processes
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as other products within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience in working with payroll systems, Vista HRMS preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and among cross-functional teams with minimal supervision, juggle multiple tasks, possess a high attention to detail, effectively prioritize assigned job duties to meet deadlines, and objectives
• Ability to provide analytical data and recommendations to internal operations; troubleshoot and solve payroll related problems
