RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Payroll/HR Generalist in Bethesda, MD.Responsibilities of a Payroll/HR Generalist:
  • Payroll/HR Generalist participates in and/or supports the development and successful implementation of human resources policies, programs, and systems
  • Works with HRIS to ensure and perform accurate system maintenance in support of human resources data management, reporting, benefits administration, compensation administration, and all other applicable human resources functionalities within the HRIS
  • Participates in and/or supports all aspects of benefits administration, including preparation for, roll out and oversight of, and follow up on, all aspects of open enrollment
  • Participated in all onboarding and transfer activities
  • Payroll/HR Generalist collaborates during the data intake process of internal employee relations investigations as assigned, including in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Senior Director of Human Resources, ensuring appropriate response and follow through for resolution
  • Monitors, alerts, and responds to human resources compliance requirements, ensuring accurate human resources notifications, document transmissions, employment law compliance, etc.
  • Receives and responds to day-to-day leader and employee inquiries and needs
  • Payroll/HR Generalist drafts and collaboratively develops employee communications
  • Supports and performs payroll activities to ensure accurate and timely biweekly payrolls
  • Supports and performs day to day human resources administrative duties
  • Payroll/HR Generalist participates in other projects as assigned, utilizing project management best practice tools to ensure success


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required
  • At least 3 years of human resources generalist experience is required, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • At least 3 years of HRIS experience is required
  • At least 3 years of full cycle payroll experience
  • Experience with PAYCOM highly desired
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products is required
