Payroll Specialist/Analyst

A successful company in the healthcare/non-profit industry is looking to expand their team by bringing on a Payroll Specialist/Analyst in their Plymouth Meeting area location. This position offers a quick start date, competitive pay, and an opportunity to work with a multi-state client in the non-profit space. Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for company employees
- Serve as company expert regarding payroll software and payroll-related questions
- Participate in regular software application, testing, and updates
- Troubleshoot timekeeping and payroll discrepancies
- Generate and maintain ad-hoc and established payroll reports using software system and other tools
- Run payroll metrics and data
- Prepare quarterly reports and other data
- Assist with account reconcilations as needed
- Conduct software system trainings and updates as needed
- Provide support and expertise to company directors and managers
- Act as backup to other department members
- Assist with payroll audits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree required
- 3-5 years of previous payroll and payroll systems experience
- Familiarity with different payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos, Dayforce, etc.)
- Solid understanding of the relationship between payroll reports and registers
- Strong communication, problem-solving, data entry, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Capable of working well independently and as part of a team
