Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Processes US & CA biweekly and weekly payroll for employees
• Reconciles payroll on a biweekly and weekly basis
• Maintains payroll entries such as: direct deposits, taxes, additional deductions
• Responsible for knowledge of all state garnishment laws. Liason between third party and Nordson to include reviewing setups
• Research and solve payroll inquiries while identifying process improvements
• Provides reports to management and accounting
• Processes manual checks and ACH transfers as needed
• Tracks and implements incremental increases for required positions
• Processes quarterly bonuses and commission payouts
• Funding of H.S.A. and 401K
• Knowledge of federal, state and local governmental payroll tax regulations
• Responsible for generating and updating processing procedures, as required
• Assists RPO with auditing of payroll, 401K review, Net to Net Comparison, G/L posting and Accruals, Year End Process
• Assists with account reconciliations as requested.
• Performs other duties and project work as assigned
• Perform administrative duties as needed

Education and Experience Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor degree preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience required, ADP Payforce preferred
• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically, Outlook and Excel)

• Experience in the Manufacturing industry a plus
