RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Teaneck, NJ, a global leader of hardware and software in its industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist - Tech Industry. Benefits and the mentor here are fantastic. Hours are 9 to 5 and work/life balance is great.Duties will include:- Setting up and processing payroll for 150 employees (80-90% of role)
- Multi state environment
- Journal entries, analysis, reconciliations, accruals focused on payroll items (10-20% of role); The Director and mentor are willing to teach
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- At least 2 years of Payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and communication
- Ability to be in office for 4-6 months during onboarding
- ADP Workforce Now, ADP, and/or Cloud based payroll systems are a plus
- Some prior accounting experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
