We are seeking Peer Wellness Coach to join our team at our program in Wilmington, DE.

Earn $20/hour

Position Details

The Peer Wellness Coach brings a unique role to the team in that this person's experience of mental illness and recovery provides a strong platform for support, modeling and coaching of wellness goals. The Peer Wellness Coach helps individuals identify reasons for pursuing greater wellness, set wellness goals and learn wellness management skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing.

• Successful completion of a Certified Peer Specialist training in Delaware.

• 2 years of experience in human services

Or

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Peer Wellness Coach has a commitment to client's choice and empowerment, is able to establish trusting relationships with peers and is able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Training in integrated primary and behavioral health care is part of the initial employment orientation.
