Description:
Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid Atlantic, is looking for experienced Full-time Pharmacists to join our team!

Schedule
Variable shifts, days, holidays, weekends, evenings, occasional nights; typically 8 hour shifts but can vary depending upon needs of department

The Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmacy services to patients, physicians, and co-workers through accepted practices, policies, and legal requirements of federal and state regulations. The Pharmacist will provide clinical support services to support a full range of pharmacy operations. Central pharmacy activities includes reviewing patient profiles at the time of dispensing medications, ensuring prescription directions are appropriate, and other duties related to pharmacist services. As a decentralized Pharmacist, you will work collaboratively with physicians and nurses to provide care to the patient. Daily activities include drug therapy monitoring, provision of drug information and drug distribution activities. You must have strong IV, TPN, and compounding skills, and you must have a winning attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • A registered pharmacist from an accredited college of Pharmacy with a current Delaware license.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
  • Good communication skills, Pharmacy Residency and PharmD desirable
  • Strong human relations skills. Basic computer skills
  • Candidates with chemotherapy and anticoagulation skills are preferred.
