Responsibilities

Obtains specimens for patients including, but not limited to, blood cultures, venipuncture and capillary samples. Assists in clerical duties for the department

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Successfully completed basic phlebotomy training.

Experience:

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Must be able to demonstrate correct use of supplies and tasks after brief orientation.

Licenses/Certificates:

Successfully complete certification or registry exam prior to, or within one year, of employment.

Other:

Possess a valid Driver's License.

Have personal access to a car.
