To support the metaverse, our fast-growing user community and innovative new products, the Network Investments team is continually expanding our global network infrastructure. The Strategy & Planning team is designed to accelerate the growth of Network Investments, to act as a trusted advisor to the regional businesses on complex problems, and as an incubator for special/early-stage strategic initiatives.As a Planning and Investment Specialist, you will collaborate closely with regional investment teams as well as broad Meta cross-functional teams to identify, assess, analyze and lead network strategy formulation and decisions on long-term complex cross-regional infrastructure problems, economically scale our network investments, all while ensuring Meta's infrastructure remains resilient and globally leading. Planning & Investment Specialist, Network Investments - Strategy & Planning Responsibilities:

• Conduct extensive financial modeling, including sensitivity analysis, to support development of long-range plans and budgets
• Structure, develop, analyze, and refine business cases to maximize value and impact
• Conduct market, vendor, and industry research to analyze impact on Meta in conjunction with regional teams translate business knowledge, regional expertise, and market drivers into a long-term strategies and actionable plans
• Partner with regional investment and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights using key metrics and performance indicators
• Assemble presentation materials and other documentation that communicate key financial and business drivers for executive-level consumption
• Establish strong collaboration between critical cross-functional teams including Infra, Finance, and Policy teams (BBE, Edge, IDC, Regions)
• Ability to travel 25% or more of the time

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or higher in economics, business, finance or equivalent degree/experience
• Financial and operational modeling experience
• Quantitative and economics analysis experience
• 3+ years of consulting, equity research, or corporate finance experience
• Infrastructure related investing experience in the telecommunications sector
• Effective communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project finance, modeling, and equity research experience, in the telecommunications or technology sector
• Experience with telecommunication or other large network/data center operations
• Experience evaluating infrastructure investment models (e.g., Fiberco, co-build, submarine consortiums)
• Investment experience (e.g. public, private, buy-sell side, private equity, project finance etc.)
