Description:
Key Result Areas

• Implement and monitor an enterprise-wide credit portfolio risk management reporting program required of a financial institution of the size and complexity of the Bank.
• Develop and produce reports to identify and measure credit risks in the various loan portfolios by bringing together, analyzing, and interpreting disparate data and information from multiple internal and external sources.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics to ensure that the production of recurring reports is automated as much as reasonably possible and formatted for circulation to relevant stakeholders. Provide analysis on related and/or bank wide projects as appropriate.
• Ensure data integrity standards are maintained and the system controls are reviewed and documented on a periodic basis. Identify core reliance factors and ensure that any scheduled updates consider the feeds used by the department during the planning, testing and scoping phases of an upgrade project.
• Execute requests including production and development of various analytical risk reports and studies on the various components of the loan portfolios, other business lines or corporate related activities.

Qualifications:

• College degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent degree program.
  5+ years of quantitative analytical experience; exposure to underwriting, credit administration, commercial and corporate lending, or finance/treasury preferred.
• Strong technical skills: advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to adapt to new systems.
• Highly proficient in Tableau, SQL; R, Python, and Spotfire preferred.
• Experience maintaining existing queries and generating new reports using SQL and Tableau.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to independently resolve errors and inconsistencies.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to review a situation from varied perspectives as well as a willingness to make judgment calls and decisions based on experience and reasonableness tests.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills, communication skills (both written and oral), business or report writing, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate within and across groups.
• Ability to manage priorities of competing stakeholders.
