Are you experienced in operating production machinery? We need your skills in our Press Operator role to help our production machinery operate at its highest efficiency! This position starts at $21.85 per hour and we offer great benefits!

Ball Metalpack is a Lean Manufacturing System environment.

Schedule: 3/4/4/3 continuous schedule, 12 hour shifts

Shift: Likely nights, unable to guarantee shift. All considered must be available for days OR nights

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Stage and maintain packaging materials and follows correct packaging/banding procedures.
• Place work order tickets on finished skid.
• Perform and assist in maintaining production equipment as required.
• Provide on-the-job training of assigned personnel.
• Conduct inspection of in process materials and in process finished products.
• Responsible for replenishing supplies and materials required for assigned area.
• Relieve other baggers or assigned personnel for breaks as needed or required.
• Perform cleanup, painting and housekeeping duties.
• Initiate, review and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, plant and company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for safe performance of the work assignment.
• Support and follow the guidelines of the food safety system.
