Position/Job Title: Pricing Support Analyst (L2)

Work Location: Joint Base Anacostia Bolling, Washington, D.C.

Job Summary:

KaiHonua, LLC is actively seeking to fill our open Pricing Support Analyst Level 2 position. The candidate shall provide operations and executive assistance in support of the Chief of Pricing. This contract provides acquisition support to the projects managed by the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (DAF RCO) which include advanced combat system acquisition and sustainment activities of interest to the Department of the Air Force (DAF). Many of these projects are critically needed national security capabilities developed on aggressive schedules with demanding performance requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

  • Supports Chief of Pricing by providing advice, guidance, and recommendations to procurement personnel in the resolution of a wide variety of cost and pricing issues.
  • Uses extensive contracting and pricing experience and recognized judgment in providing counsel to other specialists regarding the resolution of technical issues and practical advice on proceeding under specific circumstances.
  • Utilizes knowledge of Federal, DoD, and Air Force contracting and pricing regulations, policies, and processes to specific situations.
  • Assists Contracting Officers in determining cost objectives and ensuring they are based on sound pricing principles. Acts as the primary cost/price analyst on extremely complex or sensitive contracting issues. When required, serves on short-term and long-term teams to deal with specific or unprecedented pricing issues.
  • Serves as the technical expert in pricing related matters.
  • Reviews and evaluates contract price proposals for adequacy and compliance with laws, regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Conducts in depth analytical and judgmental evaluation of proposals to determine reasonableness, accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
  • Manages significant and complex agency acquisitions involving diverse supplies and services.
  • Evaluates technical, audit reports, and legal opinions to determine the various cost elements or justified exceptions in terms of factors such as risk, extent of government assistance, problems of capital investment, and extent of subcontracting.
  • Possesses proficiency in the use of Excel.
  • Other duties assigned.


Job Requirements
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience/Skills Required:
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree
  • Must be a US citizen

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weigh up to thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.

Security Clearance:

This position may require a DoD security clearance.
