Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process integration Engineer to be a part of a Integration team engaged in advanced technology at GlobalFoundries' state of the art 300 mm wafer fab (Fab 8) located in Malta, NY. As a Process integration Engineer, you will be responsible and own a specific integrated module for a high volume manufacturing technology. The candidate is expected to self motivated and work closely with multiple stakeholders within organization to meet critical goals of cost, line yield and yield with minimal supervision.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

• Integration module ownership for the high volume manufacturing technology
  
• Collaborating with device, process module, & packaging team in driving solutions.
  
• Driving Cp/Cpk improvement, defect and cost reduction for an integrated module.
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
  

Required Qualifications:

• PHD's/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other relevant engineering physical science discipline.
  
• Experience in CMOS device physics, semiconductor processing, and device characterization
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  
• Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of working experience in relevant field.
  
• Results oriented and focused on quality of work
  
• Excellent structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, clients, as well as internal and external partners
  
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills
  
• Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment
