Mission: The Principal Data Scientist animates a team or network of data scientists. He/she researches and implements Machine learning/Advanced Analytics/Advanced Statistics solutions to address complex business questions. He/ She contributes to build innovative scenarios to understand and anticipate future business or operational value creation levers for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping line managers and transverse managers to make decisions about complex or strategic problems where data expertise is involved to identify new business or métier opportunities.
  • Structuring and proposing new data model, analysis or visual methods and tools.
  • Presenting in detail the results and/or the model (performances and limits) so that the final customer can use it or upgrade the results with the future available data to create more value.
  • He/She contributes to governance bodies as a data specialist and actively participates to the worldwide métier network
  • The subject data vision is defined and shared in particular with the top management
  • Anticipates the evolutions of the business and impacts of external changes (technologies, norms, competencies ...) while passing knowledge throughout the company (training, network management and influence)
  • Addresses questions/complex and strategic data to create more value
  • Completes advanced and transformational use cases, complex or strategic algorithms including predictive models are built using appropriated technologies
  • Builds an external and innovative AI ecosystem to nurture advanced use cases and guilds
  • Formalizes lessons learned which is shared and used by other data scientists for capitalization (knowledge, know-how, programs and algorithms are shared and diffused)
  • Conducts relevant analysis to evaluate external partners or service providers to create value for the Company

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent
  • Must have experience with the following: Algorithms, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Intelligence (BI) Analysis, Visual Methods, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Data Science
  • Experience with: Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning, Digital Software Expertise, Data Mining and Analysis, Global Business Perspective - Business Acumen, Big Data Management, Security of information and digital solutions, Customer Focus, Entrepreneurship, Networking, Digital Strategy and Governance
  • Must be all to collaborate and work within a team environment
