Our client, a global creative content production company, is seeking a Print Production Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:


Provide strong project/production management skills, extensive prepress, detailed assembly and press checks to maintain schedules and budgets for campaign imagery and printed materials for Content Production, Screen Production, Image Production and Print Production
The range of work focuses on but is not limited to large format merchandising backlit and non-backlit graphics produced and showcased both domestically and internationally in Retail stores
Participate in project kickoffs, content meetings, reviews, and other project-based meetings as needed
Plan, manage and track asset procurement throughout the production process to facilitate accurate and timely delivery
Facilitate relationships between external and internal partners, ensuring up-to-date information is communicated
Own quality control (QC) of all assets coming in from, and going out to vendors, studio teams, etc.
Continually look for ways to enhance productivity through process improvements, task automation, and new technology
Support the day-to-day screen creative and production process, including briefing, tracking, quality assurance, course correction, and delivery
Partner with your Lead Screen Producer to build a foundation of product specific UI knowledge
Partner with the Screen Creative team, briefing and tracking with them on all screen creative needs for all functional teams
Direct the Screen Content Program Manager on daily screen production priorities and needs.
Provide guidance for the imagery requested by functional teams specific to each project as well as on accuracy and/or approval routes
Coordinate with creative and development teams to understand and document the full breath of global content needs including the creation of detailed content matrices, software, hardware and lifestyle assets
Develop detailed instructional briefs for Geo production teams
Partner with Brand teams to develop a clear and thorough understanding of software features and their availability across regions
Serve as subject matter experts on regional localization variances and across various platforms, by providing guidance throughout the product lifecycle
Partner with localization teams to provide scope based on marketing communication plans.
Ensure the successful training of newly hired producers
Ensuring that project costs are properly estimated, that a budget is maintained, and communicating any obstacles that would require additional funding. Working closely with PPMs to ensure proper reconciliation of all spending/invoices
Managing Creative Team's retouching comments and art direction with prepress suppliers to ensure accurate interpretation and follow-through
Establishing strong working relationships with key suppliers and ensuring best visual quality as defined by 2D visual standards
Comfortable working with complex worksheets and distros containing critical production details. (MS Excel and Numbers competency needed)
During peak launch/refresh periods evening and weekend work may be required. The candidate must also be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, often at short notice


Musts:


Preferred bachelor’s degree in project management, design, production, or related.
3-6 years of print experience at a creative agency or equivalent
Ability to effectively lead and clearly communicate overall campaign timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs
Track record of partnership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including creative and technical teams
Extensive experience in marketing content execution, experience design, localization, and you understand how to be a strong partner to the creative teams
Experience in project management or content management systems such as JIRA, Basecamp, Trello, or similar software
Solid understanding of file specifications; resolution, color space and other technical requirements of assets needed for print image production. Knowledge of electronic pre-press and printing processes required
Experience using the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in macOS and native apps
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, database management
Self-motivated, flexible individual with strong project management and communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail a must
Passionate individual, who has an eye for detail and someone who can contribute in a team environment
Must have exceptional organizational and time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize
Able to understand and interpret complex processes and shifting priorities
Trustworthy in a confidential environment. Supportive of company values
Manages time effectively. Flexible during high-volume periods where some longer hours are required
