Job Summary: Havel is looking for a Process Controls Sales Representative in Indianapolis, IN. In this position you will be responsible for the profitable sale of products and services provided by Precision Controls as it relates to Process Control contracts. This will be achieved through regular, concentrated sales and marketing efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain or establish a relationship with each assigned customer
  • Provide Business Development and Customer Acquisition thru Marketing Events and related Marketing Campaigns
  • Assist the Estimating Staff in preparing estimates and proposals
  • Participate in monthly trade chapter meetings, placing Precision Controls in the forefront of our customers' mind.
  • Work with Engineering Firms to promote Precision Controls making sure we are included in all specifications as the preferred control company
  • Provide proposals to Clients (Public and Private) to meet expected Sales Goals
  • Work with Operational Staff Members in providing the proper information in meeting the client expectations
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in engineering, engineering technology, business management or equivalent and three to five years of experience in facilities or HVAC services; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping system for design, estimating and sales
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Mathematical and financial skills
  • Enjoy business development aspects of networking and attending industry events
  • Strong understanding and interest in modern technologies
