Process Engineer

Where will you work: Onsite - Four Corners, FL (11200 State Road 37 South, Bradley, FL 33835)

We are currently seeking a Process Engineer (I, II, III or Sr.) - Florida Mining for our Florida Mining operations that will provide technical support to the mine operations group and is responsible for front-end engineering support of capital projects. As the Process Engineer, you will serve as an active contributor to Mosaic cross-site and/or cross-functional assignments and initiatives.You will be frequently assigned to high-profile projects, support assignments, and initiatives. The successful candidate will assist our team in improving our unique industrial and mining process through process systems design and maintenance troubleshooting.

What you'll do?

• Provide process engineering support to operations group including pumping system, flotation, sizing, and Integrated Operation Center. You will look for optimization, troubleshooting, efficiency improvement, problem solving, and problem prevention.
  
• Responsible for leveraging ideas and assistance including resources across mine sites.
  
• Provide front-end engineering development of capital projects including planning, identifying business objectives, identifying, and evaluating viable options, preliminary design development, and preliminary economic and risk mitigation evaluation.
  
• Responsible for commissioning and start-up support for assigned projects.
  
• Support current businessinitiatives including specific problem-solving projects or improvement activities involving multiple sites.
  
• Ensure site safety and environmental standards are being followed through safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours.
  
• Vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect fellow workers.
  
• Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees.
  
• Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards.
  

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required
  
• 0 to 10 years of related experience; related experience may consist of phosphates, fertilizer, chemical processing, or other industry type.
  
• Experience with MS Office products, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/Primavera (or similar software)
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management.
  
• Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities, teamwork and problem solving/decision making.
  

Bonus if you have the following:

• Experience with OIS, PI, Maximo, Minitab, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Slysel, Process Control Systems
  
• Master's or higher education, or multiple engineering degrees.
  
• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors occasionally exposed to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
